Airbnb.org offers temporary housing to people impacted by Los Angeles wildfires

Airbnb.org is providing free, temporary housing for people who have been displaced by the Los Angeles wildfires. The organisation has partnered with 211 LA to connect people with a free place to stay.


Hilton and American Express join forces

Hilton have announced a partnership with American Express to donate 20,000 room nights at no charge to impacted families across the greater Los Angeles area.


Destinations International Foundation’s Los Angeles Wildfire Recovery Fund

In response to the devastating fires in California, the Destinations International Foundation has launched the Los Angeles Wildfire Recovery Fund to provide critical assistance to those in need. Donations have been made to Chef Jose Andres’ World Central Kitchen ($25,000 USD), the Pasadena Community Foundation Eaton Canyon Fire Relief Fund on behalf of Visit Pasadena ($50,000 USD), and to the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Red Cross on behalf of the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board ($50,000 USD).  Further donations to provide maximum impact to those most affected will continue to be made.


Family Bonds Foundation Emphasises the Strength of Community in Assisting Travel Professionals During Los Angeles Wildfires

Due to the devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area the Family Bonds Foundation, Internova Travel Group’s charitable initiative, is extending the deadline to apply for the latest round of grants to Friday, January 17.

“With at least two dozen people killed, and thousands of homes and other buildings destroyed, we know that the need for assistance is immense,” said Jackie Friedman, Family Bonds Foundation President and President of Nexion Travel Group, part of Internova Travel Group.
